Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. Absolutely! All sessions may be set up with your credit card to be paid over the following three to six months. This can be discussed at the time of booking or any time during your treatment process. Every person deserves to feel better now, even if your wallet is not agreeing with you! You have enough to think about with your healing process, so allow yourself the commitment to living a more fulfilling life!
If I am on a payment plan does that mean I see the therapist once a month?
Your sessions will be set up according to your treatment process. Most clients need to be seen within five to seven days from their original session. Consecutive appointments will be scheduled regardless of payment plans. Should you need to be seen within three days or not for another six weeks, that will be carefully determined by you and your Hypnotherapist.
Will I have a consultation before my session?
Absolutely! Amy sits down with you and takes a thorough confidential history. Your situation deserves an individualized plan of care. Together a goal is formulated that you can both agree to and feel comfortable with.
Will I be “put to sleep” or “taken down” during my first session?
No one is put to sleep during hypnotherapy. Some people easily reach a deep relaxation within the first session but normally visualization and guided imagery are used in the first session. Hypnotherapy is never a state of sleep but is a state of mind achieved through specialized techniques, prepping the Subconscious/ Unconscious mind to be more available. This is where all the good work is done!
Will I see results right away?
Yes. And no. Most people feel more relaxed after the very first session because relaxation is wonderful! However, it does take time for the conscious mind to “catch up” with the subconscious. With thoughtful follow up sessions and consistently using the suggested exercises at home, there will be a significant change (typically) within two weeks.
Are my sessions all confidential?
Yes. Every one of them. You are protected by confidentiality laws. Amy is a clinical practitioner and a Registered Nurse, and takes an ethical oath in order to practice. All of your files are secure and locked.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
All appointments must be canceled 24 hours in advance. A $50 charge will be applied to all sessions not properly canceled.
What if I prepay sessions and I do not use them?
Every client has six months to use any prepaid sessions or gift certificates.
